About the Role

The Business Operations Analyst will assist in the daily operations tasks including monitoring system health, and investigating and resolving reservation, property, and billing issues. You will be working with the Safely Onboarding and Technical Teams to make sure clients are set up correctly, reservations are processing accurately, and invoices are accurate. You will also be looking for and implementing process improvements. Part of the position will also be to assist with tax filing including initial affidavit/filing submissions to all States and Territories and ensuring that all required surplus lines-related filings and tax payments are made with regulatory agencies accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve customer questions related to reservations, properties, policies, and billings.
  • Support the company’s billing process by performing quality assurance processes to ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Perform the technical integration of property managers into the Safely system following predefined company processes.
  • Partner with the company’s onboarding specialists to provide fast, high-quality onboarding of customers.
  • Manage complex and ambiguous customer situations that require cross-department collaboration
  • Become an expert in how Safely’s systems receive and process reservation data.
  • Become an expert in the Safely Client Portal and various Property Management Systems.
  • Monitor system health using database tools and spreadsheets.
  • Recognize and diagnose potential system problems.
  • Assist with preparing and filing all initial documents/filings required for each surplus lines policy

Qualifications

  • Software skills: expert level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and HubSpot or a similar CRM is preferred.
  • Experience using database analytics tools to identify and solve problems.
  • Tech-savvy, with a passion for client success.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to thrive working both remotely and in the office.
  • Strong desire to grow a career in Customer Success
  • Should possess interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills.
  • Lives in the Atlanta area
